How it works
How it works
Five steps from 'we need it by Friday' to money in the account.
Speed in business lending comes from doing the right steps at the same time instead of one after another. Here's what happens after you enquire, and what you can do at each step to keep it moving.
- 1
1. Tell us how much and by when (about a minute)
The amount, what it's for, your deadline, a few questions about the business and whether property is available. No credit check to enquire.
- 2
2. A real person calls, usually within the hour
During business hours, someone who knows business lending rings to fill in the gaps and agree the fastest realistic route with you.
- 3
3. The file comes together
You link bank statements and send the few documents your route needs. For property-backed loans, the valuation and title checks start the same day.
- 4
4. Sign electronically
Every director, and every property owner if property is involved, signs online with electronic ID checks. This is where most time is won or lost.
- 5
5. Funds released
Money goes to your account or straight to the supplier, the ATO or the other party. Same-day funding is possible for smaller unsecured amounts.
Choosing the route
On the first call we agree the route that fits your amount and deadline. For smaller amounts and established businesses, that's usually an unsecured loan. For larger amounts, newer businesses, paperwork that's behind or credit issues, it's usually a property-backed loan. If you'd like to see the likely route before you call, try the funding speed finder.
What we don't do
- We don't publish interest rates or "from" figures.
- We don't pass your details around a panel of lenders.
- We don't promise speed we can't deliver. If your deadline isn't realistic, we'll say so and look at what part can be funded first.
Common questions
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A check is only discussed once you've chosen to go ahead with a specific option.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. One person works on your enquiry and goes to the lender most likely to fund it in time. Your details aren't sprayed across a list of lenders.
What should I have ready?
Online banking access so statements can be linked, photo ID for every director, your ABN, a quote or invoice for the purpose, and property details if property is involved.
Why does accuracy on the form matter so much?
Because the first route we choose depends on it. If turnover, debts or property details are off, we lose time starting again. Accurate answers are the single biggest thing that keeps funding fast.
Can funds be paid straight to a supplier or the ATO?
Yes. Paying the supplier, the ATO or the other party to a settlement directly is common and often speeds things up.
Ready? Start your enquiry and fill in the form as accurately as you can.
